Drive-through bays in North Florida: what to know

Drive-through bays put an overhead door at each end of every bay. Crews return to the station on a rear drive, pull straight in, and are already facing the street for the next call. The layout needs a site long enough for an apron on both sides and a turning path around the building, so test it against the lot before committing. Doors at both ends also make cross ventilation easy on hot days while the trucks are washed or serviced.
